This is a great small town diner. Food is good, hearty, and lots of it. Good food for a decent price.
We've been coming here off and on for 4 years (Candian) and everyone is SUPER nice and helpful. We didn't make it last year due to conflict with the hotel and it almost happened again this year but the wife was determined. These folks here at Candian Restaurant darn sure make sure you don't ask for seconds lol. This is the 1st time anywhere that they had a WHOLE JUG of syrup!!! Grat place to eat and be. First off, this is Canadian Texas!!! Southern cooking at it's best. Gave it 5 stars because the food was delicious, service was outstanding, and the restaurant was clean. The catfish on Thursday night were huge and all you could eat. I could not eat a second helping. Lip smacking good. Great down home style restaurant. Friendly folks. Would definitely recommend.
Best place in the northern Panhandle to eat if you like comfortable food like you grandma cooked !!! Portions are huge !!!! Great lunch buffet as well !!!! We drive 70 miles just to eat the roast beef !!!!! Take a drive to Canadian and leave full and happy !!!

I would go to the Canadian Restaurant for every meal! I had the best steak I've ever had here. I got the 12oz ribeye steak, and it was amazing! Their salad bar is also fantastic. I definitely recommend stopping in!
Just passing through and stopped here for dinner. I had the ham steak, it was delicious! The salad bar was really good as well. My husband had the fish and really liked it. The staff was very friendly. You can tell it is a favorite with the locals by the way they interact with one another, very heartwarming.
